We have loaner gear available for use upon request.  Please email the Knight Marshal if you need loaner gear for a practice or event.

If you are new to SCA combat, we strongly recommend that you hold off on purchasing equipment until you have tried fighting and have had a chance to look at and try fighting in different types of armor.  We can give you guidance and assistance making equipment and on vendors from whom to purchase your own gear when you are ready.

If you are ready to purchase your own gear, a good resource is the Armour Archive (www.armourarchive.org).  A search of the classified section by the name of a vendor will provide numerous reviews that can help you determine who to purchase from.
